UPTOWN Magazine’s April issue (on newsstands April 12th) focuses on all things Gourmet, including a candid interview with celebrity Chef Marcus Samuelsson.
“King of the Kitchen” features Marcus Samuelsson’s journey from childhood kitchens in Sweden (via Ethiopia) to Bravo’s Top Chef Masters to revitalizing Harlem’s scene with Red Rooster, his sophisticated and soulful new restaurant on 125th Street.
“Harlem, for me, is a character itself. It took me a long time to listen,” said Samuelsson, on living, breathing the neighborhood for six years of preliminary research.
